KARACHI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Mar, 2026) Pakistan Coast Guards recovered 441kg of high-quality hashish during an operation in Gwadar, a
spokesperson said on Monday.
The spokesperson said the operation was conducted on the basis of credible intelligence regarding
drug smuggling, said a news release.
During snap checking, the Coast Guards intercepted a vehicle and recovered a large quantity of
hashish concealed inside it.
The seized narcotics were suspected to be smuggled abroad through sea routes.
The spokesperson added that the value of the recovered drugs in the international market was estimated
at around 24.31 million US Dollars.
Further investigation into the case was underway.
