KARACHI, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Jul, 2026) A coffee table book on antique cars was launched at the National academy of Performing Arts-NAPA by NAPA and Antique Cars Museum on Saturday.
The evening began with the display of some of the antique cars. This was followed by a short video presentation of the Museum.
Then, the curator of the Museum Shoaib Qureshy spoke about the event pointing out that their museum was without walls and he was grateful to NAPA for providing them with the venue. He invited CEO NAPA Jarri Masood who said NAPA was an institution that was meant to preserve the performing arts, and could relate to the Antique Cars Museum's efforts to preserve antique cars. He pointed out that NAPA is housed in the Old Hindu Gymkhana building that was constructed in 1925, the year when the oldest car on display here was launched, and the latest car belonged to the year 2005, when NAPA was founded.

His great grandfather, Agha Ahmed Hussain too had the passion to design such buildings (Mohatta Palace and Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry building to name two more), and he himself too was passionate about preserving this beautiful past.
