SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Mar, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali, along with Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on Wednesday visited the water supply scheme in Mohammadi Colony and the rainwater storage tank project at Company Bagh to review progress and ensure timely completion.
During the visit to Mohammadi Colony, Managing Director WASA, Abubakar Imran, briefed the officials that water is currently being supplied to various parts of the city through the existing system, said a handout issued here.
He added that the completion of the new water supply scheme under the Public Health Engineering Department would extend clean drinking water facilities to people.
He informed that a major portion of the project has already been completed and several tube wells have been made operational.
The commissioner inspected the storage tanks and checked the water quality on-site. He directed that the new water supply scheme must be completed by April 10 to ensure uninterrupted supply of clean drinking water to citizens.
Later, the commissioner and deputy commissioner visited Company Bagh, where a rainwater storage project is being executed under special funds of the Chief Minister Punjab.
