Commissioner, DC reviews SPA campaign

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th May, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali and Deputy Commissioner Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry on Thursday conducted detailed visits to various areas of Sargodha city, Kot Momin and Bhalwal tehsils to review progress of the “Suthra Punjab” sanitation campaign in 2nd Day of Eid UL Azha.

According to the official spokesperson here, the officials inspected collective slaughter sites, dumping points, waste collection centres and temporary heatstroke camps established for sanitation workers and the public.

Despite intense heat, sanitation workers continued carrying out cleanliness operations, disposal of animal waste and door-to-door waste collection services.

The commissioner and deputy commissioner appreciated the dedication of the workers, distributed Eid gifts among them and commended their efforts to maintain a clean environment during Eid holidays.
