Commissioner,DC visit SOS village on Eid-ul-Azha

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Commissioner Shaukat Ali along with Deputy Commissioner(DC),Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry visited SOS Village and the Child Protection Bureau on Wednesday to share Eid-ul-Azha festivities with children.

The officials cut an Eid cake with the children and distributed gifts among them, while special meals were arranged on the occasion by the respective institutions.

During the visit,the commissioner directed the administration to organize special recreational activities,festive meals and evening visits to parks for the children to make the occasion more memorable.

“Eid is a reminder of the sensitivity of children,so special care should be taken,”Shaukat Ali said,adding that children should not be deprived of any facility and such moments spent with them remained meaningful.

DC Hussain Ahmed Raza Chaudhry said the initiative aimed to prevent feelings of deprivation among children,adding that providing all possible facilities at SOS Village and the Child Protection Bureau was a top priority of the Punjab government.
