Commissioner-DC visits 7th Muharram processions

HYDERABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 24th Jun, 2026) Commissioner Hyderabad Division Fayaz Hussain Abbasi, Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad Zain-ul-Abedin Memon, and Assistant Commissioner Taluka City Syed Noor Hussain visited Jamaatan Jo Pirh at Faqir Jo Pirh, Hyderabad, to monitor one of Hyderabad’s largest 7th Muharram processions.

During the visit, the officials reviewed the security, traffic management, municipal services, and overall administrative arrangements along the procession route. They inspected the deployment of law enforcement personnel and assessed the availability of essential facilities for mourners.

The officers remained in close coordination with all concerned departments to ensure the peaceful and orderly conduct of the procession. They directed the relevant authorities to maintain a high level of vigilance and provide uninterrupted civic services throughout the event.

The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety, security, and convenience of mourners during Muharram-ul-Haram through effective coordination and continuous monitoring of all arrangements.
