Commissioner & DIG Sukkur Visit Ghotki- Kashmore Bridge

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Commissioner Sukkur, Abid Saleem Qureshi and DIG Sukkur Range, Nasir Aftab on Thursday visited the Ghotki- Kashmore bridge construction site, accompanied by SSP Ghotki Anwar Khatran and other district administration and police officials.

They reviewed the ongoing construction work and visited police pickets established for the security of the personnel involved in the project.

The SSP Ghotki and officials involved in the bridge construction briefed the Commissioner and DIG on the progress of the work and security measures taken.

The DIG inquired about the problems faced by police officials and personnel deployed for security and directed the SSP Ghotki to take immediate steps for improvement, seeking a daily report.

He praised the morale and spirit of the officials and personnel deployed at the police pickets.

The Commissioner and DIG emphasized that the speedy construction of the Ghotki- Kashmore bridge, made possible by the improved law and order situation due to Operation Najaat Mehran, would be a backbone for the development of the area, bringing peace and prosperity. They urged the officials and personnel to perform their duties responsibly, warning that any negligence or laxity would result in departmental action.
