SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Jun, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division, Hafiz Shaukat Ali, has directed all district administrations and relevant departments to expedite the implementation of the “Apna Khet Apna Rozgar” initiative, the PLUS Project, and city beautification and urban regeneration schemes to ensure the timely delivery of public benefits.
He issued these directives while chairing a review meeting on Monday to assess progress on various development and welfare projects across the division’s four districts. Deputy Commissioners, departmental officers, and representatives associated with the projects attended the meeting.
During the session, officials briefed the Commissioner on the current status of ongoing projects, challenges encountered, and future implementation plans. Reviewing the progress, Hafiz Shaukat Ali emphasized that public welfare initiatives launched by the Government of Punjab must effectively reach the people and deliver tangible results.
Speaking about the “Apna Khet Apna Rozgar” programme, the Commissioner described it as a major step towards modernizing the agricultural sector, strengthening the economic position of farmers and youth, and expanding access to modern farming facilities.

The meeting also reviewed various components of the PLUS Project. The Commissioner noted that the initiative would play a vital role in promoting sustainable development, improving basic infrastructure, and addressing local civic issues. He directed the concerned departments to maintain continuous monitoring and submit regular progress reports.
A detailed review was also conducted of the City Beautification Project and Urban Regeneration Plan, covering measures related to cleanliness, restoration of green belts, renovation of roads and public squares, wall painting, park improvement, and the enhancement of other civic facilities.
Hafiz Shaukat Ali said that providing citizens with a clean, attractive, and healthy urban environment remains a key government priority. He urged all relevant institutions to work in close coordination and maintain effective communication to achieve the desired objectives.
The Commissioner further stressed that no compromise should be made on quality standards and directed that all ongoing projects be completed within the prescribed timelines.
