Chairing a meeting on urban development at his office, the commissioner said the estimates should be finalized promptly so the projects can be included in the upcoming provincial budget for the next fiscal year.

The meeting was informed that 14 important intercity and urban roads in Sargodha have been identified in the initial phase, and preparation of PC-I documents and cost estimates is currently underway. These proposals will be forwarded to the Government of Punjab for approval and execution in the next financial year.

He further directed that installation of streetlights and improvement of urban infrastructure be incorporated into these development plans.
