Commissioner directs RDA staff to ensure punctuality, improve performance

RAWALPINDI, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Apr, 2026) Commissioner Rawalpindi, Engineer Aamir Khattak, on Wednesday directed officers of the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) to ensure punctuality and enhance institutional performance through improved discipline and coordination.

The directives were issued during a meeting held at the DC Complex, Rawalpindi, attended by RDA officers and staff.

Addressing the participants, Khattak stressed strict adherence to official working hours and urged officers to discharge their duties with responsibility, integrity and professionalism.

He said improved performance required dedication, teamwork and a commitment to transparency in the delivery of public services.

He reiterated that public service remained the foremost priority and warned that negligence or laxity would not be tolerated. Emphasising institutional efficiency, he said discipline, punctuality and effective coordination were essential to achieving better outcomes.

The commissioner also instructed officers to enhance the efficiency of their respective departments and ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks.

At the conclusion of the meeting, he called for prompt and full compliance with the directives.
