Commissioner inaugurates art exhibition

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd May, 2026) Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen inaugurated an art exhibition titled “Jahan Bahar Ruk Jati Hai” at the Institute of Art & Design College and pledged concrete measures to promote fine arts, stating that creative expression reflects the true spirit and balance of a society.

During her visit to the college, the divisional commissioner formally opened the exhibition and viewed a wide range of portraits and paintings displayed by students and faculty members.

She took keen interest in the artwork prepared by College Principal Tehmina Afzal and appreciated the high standard and creativity reflected in the paintings.

Speaking on the occasion, Madam Musarrat Jabeen said that the exhibition beautifully portrayed the thoughts, emotions and stories of women through the medium of art.
