Commissioner inspects examination center, reviews arrangements for fair conduct of exams

BAHAWALPUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Jun, 2026) Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia visited the examination center established at Government Comprehensive Girls Higher Secondary school to review arrangements for the ongoing examinations and assess the overall examination environment.

Chief Executive Officer education Tawakkal Hussain and Secretary of the board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Abdul Malik Cheema accompanied the Commissioner during the visit.

During the inspection, Commissioner Kathia reviewed examination halls, security arrangements, the installation and functioning of CCTV cameras, and the monitoring mechanisms in place to ensure transparency and discipline throughout the examination process.

He directed the concerned officials to maintain the highest standards of order, fairness, and merit, emphasizing that no negligence or administrative shortcomings would be tolerated in the conduct of examinations.

The Commissioner stated that providing students with a fair, transparent, and conducive examination environment remains one of the administration’s top priorities. He stressed that every effort must be made to ensure equal opportunities for all candidates and to uphold the integrity of the examination system.

Reiterating the government's zero-tolerance policy against cheating and unfair practices, he instructed authorities to maintain strict vigilance at all examination centers and ensure effective monitoring throughout the examination period. He emphasized that there should be no compromise on merit, transparency, or examination standards.

Commissioner Kathia expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made by the examination staff and appreciated their efforts in maintaining an organized and disciplined environment.
