Commissioner lauds Safe City monitoring for ensuring quick Eid cleanliness response

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen on Saturday praised the Safe City Command & Control Room for its effective real-time monitoring during Eid-ul-Adha, saying the technology-driven surveillance system helped ensure prompt cleanliness measures across the city through timely identification of animal waste and immediate response by the concerned teams.

During a visit to the Safe City Command & Control Room, she reviewed the network of modern CCTV cameras installed across the city, the monitoring system and the response mechanism.

She appreciated the initiative of monitoring cleanliness operations from the Command & Control Room during Eid-ul-Adha and said that timely identification of waste disposal issues enabled authorities to take quick action, resulting in effective sanitation arrangements.

She commended the entire Command & Control Room team for its professional performance and dedication in maintaining continuous surveillance and coordination during the Eid holidays.

She was also briefed on the Safe City project's modern technology-based infrastructure, including the Command & Control Center, monitoring system and operational capabilities.

The officials informed her about various features of the system designed to enhance public safety, improve surveillance and strengthen emergency response.

Speaking on the occasion, she said that Safe City Project was playing a vital role in protecting the lives and property of citizens.

She said that operationalization of the project had contributed significantly to reduce serious crimes and improve the overall law & order situation in the city.

The use of modern technology was helping government departments to enhance service delivery, strengthen public safety measures and ensure timely response to civic and security-related issues, she added.
