Commissioner orders cleanliness, cooling facilities at THQ Hospital Bhowana

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th May, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen has ordered immediate improvement in cleanliness arrangements and installation of air-conditioning facilities at Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital Bhowana.

During her surprise visit to THQ Hospital, she expressed dismay over poor sanitary conditions in the healthcare facility.

She inspected various wards, corridors and other sections of the hospital and took notice of the inadequate cleanliness standards and reprimanded the Medical Superintendent for the situation.

She directed the hospital administration to immediately carry out thorough washing of wards, verandas and other areas and stressed that regular cleaning with phenyl should be ensured on permanent basis to maintain hygienic environment for patients.

She also took notice of the prevailing hot weather conditions and directed the concerned authorities to arrange and install air-conditioners in hospital wards without delay so that the patients could receive treatment in a comfortable environment.

During visit, the Divisional Commissioner met patients admitted to different wards, inquired about their health conditions and sought feedback regarding the availability of medicines and healthcare services being provided at the hospital.
