Commissioner orders faster progress on proposed schemes,ensure sets Sept 30 deadline

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th May, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Wednesday ordered the concerned departments to expedite work on the proposed schemes and ensure their completion before September 30,2026.

He issued orders while chairing a meeting at the Commissioner Office Sargodha to review proposed development schemes across the division under on-source funding,in line with directions issued by the Punjab Chief Secretary.

The meeting was attended by deputy commissioners of Sargodha,Khushab,Mianwali and Bhakkar districts along with officers from relevant departments and officials associated with planning and development affairs.

During the meeting,participants discussed the feasibility of various proposed schemes,availability of funds, development priorities and public welfare aspects in detail.

Different proposals relating to urban facilities,infrastructure improvement,restoration and beautification of parks, construction and rehabilitation of roads and other basic public amenities were also reviewed.

The commissioner directed that all proposed schemes should be designed in accordance with public needs, transparency and sustainable development to ensure maximum public benefit despite limited resources.

He emphasized that no compromise would be made on the quality and timely completion of development projects.
