Commissioner orders improvement in e-Biz performance

MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Mar, 2026) Commissioner Multan Division Aamir Karim Khan has directed the authorities concerned to improve the performance of the e-Business (e-Biz) portal to enhance service delivery and facilitate the public.

Chairing a review meeting on the progress of the e-Biz programme, the Commissioner stressed that online services would spare citizens from unnecessary visits to government offices while promoting transparency and efficiency.

He stated that providing a business-friendly environment to the business community remains a top priority of the Punjab government. He urged all relevant departments to adopt a coordinated strategy to boost commercial activities and encourage traders.

Aamir Karim Khan also instructed officials to ensure that the e-Biz programme was communicated to the public in a simple and accessible manner. He directed the preparation of easy-to-understand awareness material explaining the application process and benefits of the portal.

Highlighting the importance of digital governance, the Commissioner said that enabling maximum citizens to benefit from government services was a key objective.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioners, Chief Officers of Municipal Committees, District Council representatives, and officers of relevant departments.
