Commissioner orders strict price control,better coordination

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 6th Apr, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Monday directed all departments to enhance coordination and ensure strict implementation of government policies to maximize relief for the public.

Chairing a meeting to review administrative affairs, he said effective monitoring was essential to control inflation and maintain service delivery, according to an official spokesperson.

Deputy commissioners of all four districts and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed key issues, including the impact of oil prices, law and order, transport fares, price control, the “Suthra Punjab” campaign, and ongoing beautification projects.

The commissioner directed price control magistrates to strictly monitor essential commodities and take indiscriminate action against profiteers.

While expressing satisfaction over the law and order situation, he stressed the need for better coordination to further improve it.

He also ordered action against unjustified increases in transport fares and directed authorities to improve sanitation and ensure timely completion of beautification schemes.
