Commissioner orders timely recovery of dues

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 28th Apr, 2026) Commissioner and Administrator Municipal Corporation, Hafiz Shaukat Ali has directed municipal officers to ensure timely recovery of dues and completion of ongoing development projects within stipulated timelines to facilitate citizens without delay.

He issued these instructions while chairing a review meeting of various wings of the Municipal Corporation here at his office on Tuesday. Chief Officer Zoya Baloch, Municipal Officer (Finance), Municipal Officer (Planning), and other concerned officials attended the meeting.

During the session, the Municipal Officer (Finance) presented a detailed briefing on the institution’s income, expenditures, and targets set for the current fiscal year.

The commissioner was informed that various measures are being taken to enhance revenue generation, and strategies are being devised to further improve recovery.

The meeting was also briefed on the ongoing anti-encroachment drive.

The commissioner directed officials to continue indiscriminate operations against encroachments to ensure smooth traffic flow and maintain the city’s aesthetics.
