Commissioner orders to complete facilities in NSIC

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Feb, 2026) Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Monday ordered the concerned authorities to ensure

timely completion of all remaining formalities so that quality cardiac healthcare services

can be made available to the public at the earliest.

He issued these orders while visiting to the Government Nawaz Sharif Institute of Cardiology

(NSIC) to review administrative arrangements, medical facilities, and overall operational

preparedness of the institution.

According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner's office here, during the visit,

the commissioner inspected all major departments of the hospital, including wards, Outpatient

Department (OPD), Emergency, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Coronary Care Unit (CCU), operation theatres, diagnostic units, pharmacy, laboratory, nursing stations, and other supporting sections.

He toured all floors of the facility and examined the availability of medical services, cleanliness arrangements, installation of modern medical equipment, staff presence, and patient care facilities.

The commissioner expressed satisfaction over the progress made so far and emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of healthcare delivery.
