Commissioner reshuffles 10 officials over public complaints

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th May, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen has reshuffled 10 officials serving in different branches of the Commissioner Office to improve transparency, discipline and public facilitation after taking strict notice of certain public complaints regarding administrative affairs and service delivery.

A spokesman of local administration said here on Monday that the affected officials belonged to various sections including Revenue Branch, General Branch, Reader Commissioner Office, Ahlmad Commissioner Office, Telephone Operators Section, Ahlmad Additional Commissioner Revenue Office, Copy Branch, Admin Branch, Record Room, Superintendent General Office and Complaint Cell.

He said that all transferred officials were directed to immediately report to their new assignments and ensure uninterrupted discharge of official responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen made it clear that establishment of an efficient, disciplined and people-friendly administrative system in government offices is her top priority.

She stressed that employees must adopt a courteous attitude towards visitors and applicants approaching public offices for official matters. She warned the officials against using delaying tactics in disposal of legitimate public issues and directed them to uphold transparency and merit in all official affairs.

She emphasized that negligence, inefficiency and lack of responsibility would not be tolerated in the division.

She said that the divisional administration was committed to ensuring prompt public service delivery, institutional accountability and improved governance standards in all departments operating under the Faisalabad Division. Hence, there was no room for lethargic and non-performing officials in government offices rather the officers and employees showing commitment, responsibility and timely completion of official targets would continue to receive encouragement and appreciation, she added.
