Commissioner reviews city beautification projects,orders timely completion

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 5th Jun, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Friday inspected ongoing city beautification and urban regeneration projects across the city and directed authorities to ensure their timely completion without compromising on quality.

During the visit,officers of the concerned departments accompanied the commissioner, who reviewed development works at City Road,Kachehri Bazaar and Sarafa Bazaar.

He assessed the pace and standard of ongoing construction and improvement activities under the urban beautification initiative.

The commissioner said the project aimed to improve the urban environment and transform Sargodha into a more modern and well-organized city.

He stressed that cleanliness, plantation, beautification and provision of better urban facilities remained among the key priorities of the Punjab government,adding that timely completion of such projects would help provide a better living environment to citizens.

Hafiz Shaukat Ali directed officials to enhance efforts for the beautification of public spaces, maintenance of green areas and improvement of urban infrastructure.

He expressed optimism that Sargodha would be developed in line with modern urban needs and emerge as one of the most beautiful and organized cities of Punjab.
