Commissioner reviews development work at Sher Bagh, Dring Stadium

BAHAWALPUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 14th Apr, 2026) Commissioner Bahawalpur Irfan Ali Kathia on Tuesday visited Sher Bagh (Zoo),

where he was briefed by the curator on the ongoing development projects at the zoo.

Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza and the Assistant Commissioner City

were also present on the occasion.

During his visit, the Commissioner directed that all ongoing development works

be completed within the stipulated period while maintaining high quality standards.

He also emphasized further improvement in cleanliness arrangements at Sher Bagh,

stating that providing citizens with quality recreational facilities and a pleasant

environment was the responsibility of district administration.

He remarked that

visitors to the zoo should leave with a positive and enjoyable experience.

Later, the Commissioner inspected ongoing development work at Dring Stadium

and reviewed cleanliness arrangements there as well.

Expressing displeasure over the slow pace of construction on the jogging track,

he instructed the authorities concerned to expedite the work and ensure its

completion at the earliest, without compromising on quality.

Irfan Ali Kathia reiterated that improving public spaces and ensuring the provision

of quality facilities remain top priorities of the district administration.
