Commissioner reviews Eid cleanliness drive in Chiniot, praises sanitation staff

CHINIOT, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th May, 2026) In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the Eid-ul-Adha cleanliness operation was successfully carried out across Faisalabad Division, including Chiniot district, where sanitation teams remained active throughout the three days of Eid.

In this regard, Commissioner Faisalabad Musarrat Jabin visited Tehsil Bhuana on the third day of Eid along with Deputy Commissioner Ayesha Rizwan to review the ongoing sanitation arrangements and inspect cleanliness operations in various areas.

During the visit, the Commissioner attended a cleanliness awareness camp established under the “Suthra Punjab” initiative, where she distributed sweets among sanitation workers and appreciated their dedicated services during Eid-ul-Adha.

She also inspected washing operations in different localities and interacted with citizens present on the occasion.

Residents expressed satisfaction over the prompt and quality cleanliness arrangements and thanked the Punjab government for ensuring a clean environment during the festive days. Managing Director Suthra Punjab Wasiq Abbas Haral and Assistant Commissioner Sheena Azam were also present during the visit.
