Commissioner reviews facilities at DMC, orders expansion of classrooms

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 21st Apr, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Madam Musarrat Jabeen on Tuesday reviewed academic

and recreational facilities at Divisional Model College (DMC) Samanabad Campus

and ordered immediate expansion of classrooms in line with the education development

initiatives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

During visit to DMC campus, she inspected classrooms and appreciated the enrollment

of 103 students in the Primary section within a short span of time.

She directed that construction of additional classrooms on the available land be started

immediately and issued instructions to the Director Schools Cell in this regard.

She said that acquisition of land at Ayub Research on Jhang Road was also under

consideration for establishing high and higher secondary sections of the Divisional

Model College.

She said that a network of public schools was being expanded across the division

to provide quality and purposeful education to students near their homes at affordable fees.

She further said that after establishment of Samanabad Campus, another campus would be

constructed at Ayub Research to facilitate students while work on Divisional Model College

project in FDA City was also progressing at a fast pace.

Principal Divisional Model College Yasin Mirza informed that enrollment at Samanabad

Campus was increasing day by day and more classrooms were required to accommodate

students.

He also briefed the divisional commissioner on ongoing academic activities.

Director Schools Cell/Director Development Asif Iqbal Chaudhry and other officers

were also present on the occasion.
