MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan conducted a detailed visit to the Maryam Nawaz Healthcare Center in Qadirpur Ran to assess the quality of medical services provided to the public.
During the visit, the Commissioner interacted with patients and their attendants, inquiring about the availability and standard of treatment. Patients expressed satisfaction with the healthcare facilities offered at the center.
He inspected various sections of the facility, including the radiology room, laboratory, dental clinic, and medicine counter. The Commissioner instructed staff to improve medicine record-keeping, ensure the consistent availability of essential drugs, and enhance cleanliness standards in washrooms. He also directed that clear signage be installed for public convenience.
Officials briefed the Commissioner that 231 patients were treated at the clinic in a single day, with an average daily patient load of around 250. The center is staffed by five doctors and three consultants, providing round-the-clock medical services.
Additionally, 2–5 maternity cases are handled daily.
During the visit, Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan also participated in a tree plantation activity within the premises and offered prayers for the country’s progress and prosperity.
He later visited the under-construction Trauma Center in Qadirpur Ran to review the pace of development work. The Commissioner directed the departments concerned to ensure the project’s completion within the current month and emphasized effective coordination among all stakeholders.
According to the briefing, the Trauma Center project is being completed at a cost of Rs. 170 million. Tile work in the operation theatre is currently underway, and the project has entered its final stages. The Commissioner also instructed the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) to expand plantation and green areas, subject to the availability of horticulture funds.
