Commissioner reviews high-value government assets

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 13th Jul, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shoukat Ali inspected high-value government properties in Sargodha district on Monday to review measures aimed at improving the utilisation of public assets and increasing government revenue.

According to the official spokesperson here, Deputy Commissioner Sargodha Hussain Ahmad Raza Chaudhry, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), and officers from relevant departments accompanied the commissioner during the visit.

The inspection focused on assessing the current status, legal position, utilisation, commercial potential, and revenue-generation opportunities of valuable government properties across Sargodha tehsil.

During the briefing, the DC informed the commissioner that efforts were underway to identify high-value government assets, update official records, safeguard public properties, and ensure their effective utilisation to maximise revenue from underutilised state-owned assets.

Commissioner Hafiz Shoukat Ali directed the concerned departments to maintain updated records of all high-value government properties, protect public land from illegal encroachments, and prepare practical proposals for the productive use of these assets.
