Commissioner Reviews Record of Rights Digitization Progress in Sukkur

SUKKUR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Sukkur, Abid Saleem Qureshi on Wednesday chaired a meeting at the Commissioner’s Office to review the ongoing re-writing and digitization process of the Record of Rights in District Sukkur.

The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner-I Dr. Muhammad Aamir Ansari, Additional Commissioner-II Naheed Ahmed Mirani, Deputy Commissioner Sukkur Nadir Shahzad Khan, Assistant Commissioner Athar Hussain, other assistant commissioners, mukhtiarkars, and revenue officials.

Commissioner Qureshi conducted a detailed review of the process and discussed key agenda points to ensure its completion within the stipulated timeframe.

The meeting covered tehsil-wise progress, availability and use of human resources, training of field staff, references under Section 164 regarding suspicious or blocked revenue entries, and requirements for digitization, including scanning, data entry, software and workforce.

The objective was to finalize a clear action plan for timely completion, ensure all targets are met, and guarantee implementation as per the agreed Terms of Reference (TORs).

Commissioner Qureshi directed concerned officers to accelerate the pace of work and adopt a coordinated strategy to complete all stages transparently, effectively and on time.
