Commissioner reviews solarization project at BISE Sargodha

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 30th Apr, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Thursday chaired an meeting of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Sargodha to review progress on the ongoing solarization project at the board office.

According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner's office here, during the meeting, concerned officials briefed the commissioner on the installation process, project cost, expected energy savings, and overall benefits of the solar system.

The briefing highlighted that the project would significantly reduce electricity expenses, while promoting the use of alternative and environmentally friendly energy sources in the institution.

Addressing the meeting, the Commissioner directed the authorities to ensure timely completion of the project without compromising on quality.

He said the promotion of renewable energy in government institutions was the need of the hour, as it would help conserve resources and support environmental protection efforts.

Senior officers of the education board and representatives of relevant departments attended the meeting.
