SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 31st Mar, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Tuesday chaired a meeting via video link, directing district administrations to further enhance their performance and service delivery mechanisms.

According to the spokesperson for the Commissioner's office here, the meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioners of all four districts, the Additional Commissioner Coordination, Managing Director WASA, and other relevant officials.

Key administrative matters at district and tehsil levels were reviewed in detail to ensure more effective governance.

During the session, the Commissioner received a briefing on the restructuring of Deputy Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner offices. He emphasized aligning these offices with modern requirements to improve public service delivery.

The meeting also reviewed the cleanliness situation under the “Suthra Punjab” campaign. All districts were directed to further strengthen sanitation systems to ensure a clean and healthy environment for citizens.

The Commissioner instructed officials to accelerate ongoing measures for the control and elimination of stray dogs, stressing the importance of protecting citizens’ lives and property.

He also directed concerned departments to immediately cover open manholes and improve drainage systems to prevent any untoward incidents.

On the occasion, The Managing Director WASA briefed the meeting on ongoing development projects.

Concluding the meeting, the Commissioner directed all DCs to remain active in the field, ensure implementation of directives, and prioritize prompt resolution of public issues.
