Commissioner stresses for uninterrupted municipal services

FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 11th Apr, 2026) Commissioner/Administrator Municipal Corporation Faisalabad Madam Musarrat Jabeen stressed the need of uninterrupted municipal services and strict enforcement of building bylaws.

She was chairing a meeting of Municipal Corporation here on Saturday while Deputy Commissioner (DC) Captain (Retired) Nadeem Nasir, Chief Officer Municipal Corporation Malik Murtaza and others were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the meeting, the commissioner directed that there should be no disruption in the provision of municipal services to citizens and urged all departments to further improve their performance.

She emphasized that building bylaws must be implemented in letter & spirit and ordered that the anti-encroachment operation should be continued with full legal authority.

She also directed that all streetlights and traffic signals should be made fully functional to facilitate the commuters and general public.

She also stressed the need to expedite repair and rehabilitation work on remaining roads and said that improving the standard of municipal services beyond public expectations should remain a top priority for the departments concerned.
