Commissioner Sukkur Reviews Development Projects & Inaugurates Auditorium in Pano Aqil

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Sukkur, Abid Saleem Qureshi on Wednesday chaired a meeting with revenue officials at the Assistant Commissioner (AC) office in Pano Aqil, reviewing ongoing and completed development projects in the area.

He inspected the Pir Wah, grain market and Village Chunga dispensary construction sites, issuing directives to concerned officials. He also inaugurated the "Anwaruddin Sheikh Auditorium" at Mehran School and College, praising the institution's efforts in providing quality education.

Addressing students, the Commissioner emphasized the importance of individual efforts in creating a better society, stating that every person should strive to be a source of goodness for others. He also appreciated the civil society's role in promoting education and social welfare.

He directed AC Pano Aqil, Urooj al-Wathqui, to ensure petrol pump inspections, anti encroachment measures and polio vaccination drives. He also inaugurated the renovated Bilawal Park and planted a sapling.

The Commissioner visited various development projects, including the Zulfikar Ali Bhutto grain market and Village Chunga dispensary, instructing officials to address public grievances.

At Mehran Model High School and College, Qureshi praised the institution's commitment to providing quality education to underprivileged students. The school's governing body shared plans to establish a maternity home and expand the institution on 20 acres of land.

Qureshi also visited the Muhammad Hatim library and Skill Development Institute, commending the initiative to promote education and skill development among youth.
