- Commissioner Sukkur visits Anwar Paracha Hospital, reviews patient facilities and repair works

SUKKUR, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 10th Apr, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Sukkur, Abid Saleem Qureshi on Friday visited Government Anwar Paracha Hospital Sukkur and inspected the hospital's OPD, reviewed the facilities being provided to patients.
On this occasion, Medical Superintendent Dr. Asad Sarwar briefed the Commissioner about the ongoing work and the requirements of the hospital. In this regard, the Commissioner Sukkur stated that he had spoken to the Secretary of Health Sindh, who has approved Rs. 3.1 million for the improvement of the Hospital.
The Commissioner directed that this amount be spent on the repair of the hospital's roof and the purchase of a CBC machine for blood tests.
He further stated that in view of skin disease infections, special measures should be ensured in the hospital. He instructed that along with cleanliness, the Hospital waste be disposed off at appropriate locations and said that compliance with the Infection Prevention and Control protocol implemented by the government for all private and public health facilities must be ensured. He also emphasized that in light of the spread of skin diseases, special attention be given to raising awareness among patients visiting the hospital. He appreciated the Hospital administration's efforts in this regard, including the display of banners and pamphlets for patient awareness.
