PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Apr, 2026) Under the direct supervision of Commissioner Peshawar Division, Riaz Khan Mehsud, recruitment interviews for medical officers commenced on Sunday across five districts, including Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, Mohmand, and Khyber.

To ensure the process runs smoothly, Commissioner’s Office canceled all weekly leaves for relevant staff and assigned special duties to manage high volume of candidates. Ten specialized panels have been established to conduct interviews in an organized manner, with process scheduled to continue through April 28.

To streamline experience and minimize waiting times, administration has implemented a schedule with three distinct time slots: 9 am to 12 pm, 12 pm to 3 pm, and 3 pm to 6 pm.

Candidates have been provided with comprehensive on-site facilities, including dedicated waiting rooms, clean environments, tuck shops, and drinking water.

During a site visit with Additional Secretary Health Mansoor Arshad, Commissioner Mehsud personally inspected interview panels and spoke several doctors to verify quality of arrangements.

Emphasizing his commitment to a fair recruitment process, Commissioner directed concerned quarters to maintain a transparent and secure environment for all applicants. He reiterated that merit would be sole criteria for selection and instructed staff to ensure that no candidate faces unnecessary hardship or lack of facilities during multi-day event.
