Commissioner visit FMTH, reviews healthcare facilities, admin arrangements

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Apr, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division, Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Thursday visited Dr Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital (FMTH) to review healthcare facilities and administrative arrangements.

According to the spokesperson of the commissioner’s office here, during the visit, the Commissioner inspected various departments of the hospital, with a special focus on the cardiology ward and operation theatre.

He reviewed the quality of medical services being provided to patients.

He also checked the attendance of doctors and paramedical staff, cleanliness arrangements, and the availability of medicines.

The Commissioner interacted with patients and their attendants, inquiring about the facilities and listening to their concerns.

On the occasion, Hafiz Shaukat Ali directed the hospital administration to ensure the provision of the best possible healthcare services to patients.

He emphasized the need to further improve cleanliness standards and maintain uninterrupted availability of medicines.

He stated that providing quality healthcare facilities to the public is a top priority of the government, and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated.
