Commissioner visits DHQ Hospital on Eid-ul-Azha

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th May, 2026) Commissioner Shaukat Ali on Wednesday visited Dr Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital on the first day of Eid-ul-Azha to review medical facilities and administrative arrangements while also extending Eid greetings to patients.

Deputy Commissioner(DC) accompanied the commissioner during the visit.

During the inspection,the commissioner visited various wards and met patients,distributed Eid gifts among under-treatment patients and inquired about their health.

He also reviewed cleanliness,medication availability and hospital management systems.

Shaukat Ali directed the Medical Superintendent to immediately improve cleanliness,discipline and overall administrative efficiency.

He stressed that all essential medicines must remain available and no patient should be referred outside for the purchase of medicines.

He also inspected the emergency block,X-ray room and medical store and interacted with patients and attendants to assess the standard of healthcare services.

The commissioner further visited the newly inaugurated 10-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Rehmat-ul-Lil-Alameen Block,terming it an important addition to critical care facilities in the district.

He instructed doctors and staff to maintain a courteous attitude and strictly observe duty timings, emphasizing professional conduct to ensure quality healthcare delivery.
