Commissioner visits Dr.Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital to review medical facilities

SARGODHA, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 3rd Jun, 2026) Commissioner Sargodha Division Hafiz Shaukat Ali on Wednesday paid a surprise visit to Dr. Faisal Masood Teaching Hospital to review the provision of medical facilities, cleanliness standards and overall administrative matters.

During the visit,the Commissioner inspected various departments including the Out-Patient Department (OPD), registration counters and different wards.

He interacted with patients and their attendants to inquire about the quality of treatment,availability of medicines and the behavior of the hospital staff.

The Commissioner Hafiz Shaukat Ali directed the hospital administration to ensure the best possible facilities for patients and visitors,emphasizing the maintenance of high cleanliness standards and the provision of clean drinking water and proper waiting areas.

He further instructed the management to dispose of bio-medical waste according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and to improve parking and traffic management for easier access to the healthcare facility.

Speaking on the occasion,the Commissioner said that providing quality healthcare facilities to the masses was the top priority of the Punjab government and no negligence or lethargy would be tolerated in this regard.
