FAISALABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Feb, 2026) Divisional Commissioner Raja Jahangir Anwar has said that making government hospitals complaint-free is a top administrative priority, adding that regular visits are being conducted to thoroughly review medical and administrative affairs for ensuring improved service delivery to patients.
During his visit to Allied Hospital-I, he inspected various wards and inquired after patients under treatment in addition to verifying the provision of medicines from the hospital pharmacy.
He made it clear that no complaint regarding non-availability of medicines to patients would be tolerated under any circumstances.
Referring to the directives of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz, he said that effective measures are being implemented to maintain a clean and hygienic environment in public hospitals. He said that a comprehensive washing campaign of all wards is being carried out without interruption to ensure sanitation standards.
He also examined the functionality of medical machinery and checked the position of medicine stock in the hospital store to ensure adequate availability.
He directed the hospital administration to maintain all equipment in working condition and ensure uninterrupted healthcare services.
Reviewing cleanliness arrangements, he inspected wash basins and checked water availability, stressing that a neat and hygienic environment must be maintained at all times.
He emphasized that the benefits of government initiatives in the health sector should reach common patients without any hindrance and no negligence or laxity in service delivery would be tolerated.
The district administration is committed to strengthen healthcare facilities and ensure provision of quality treatment to the patients with dignity and care, he added.
