Completion of Kach-Mor to Cardiac Center road project to provide traveler facilities to people: Babar

QUETTA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 25th Feb, 2026) Secretary Communications and Works (C&W) Babar Khan on Wednesday said that the completion of the Kach-Mor to Cardiac Center road would not only provide ease of movement for the local people but could also prove to be a great convenience for the patients visiting the cardiac center and their caregivers.

He expressed these views on the occasion of the visit and review meeting of the Kach Mor to Cardiac Center road project.

Abdul Rahim Bangulzai, Chief Engineer Quetta Zone, SE Quetta, Mir Muhammad Khosa, Executive Engineer Roads Kuchlak Division, Qazi Sanaullah and other relevant officials were also present on the occasion.

Executive Engineer Roads Kuchlak Division, Qazi Sanaullah, while giving a briefing on the project, said that the project has entered the final stages of completion and a few minor works are left which would be completed soon.

He said that the ongoing work includes improvement of the final layer shoulders of the road and other technical matters.

On this occasion, Secretary Communications and Works Babar Khan directed the relevant authorities to complete all the remaining works of the project, especially the shoulders of the road, wherever the construction of the returning wall and the work of soft earth should be completed immediately so that the project could be completed as per the prescribed standards.

He clarified that no negligence would be tolerated in completing the development projects that are stalled in the final stages because even a minor negligence could affect the quality of the project.

He also directed the officers to accelerate the pace of work without compromising on quality.

The Secretary Communications and Works reiterated the commitment that the government of Balochistan is taking serious steps to provide better travel facilities to the people and such projects should play an important role in reducing the problems of the citizens.
