ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 17th Feb, 2026) A formal condolence session was held at the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday to mourn the passing away of former judge Justice Khalil ur Rehman Khan.
The condolence reference was led by the Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Yahya Afridi, and attended by other judges of the apex court at the Supreme Court building in Islamabad.
During the session, the judges offered Fateha for the departed soul and expressed profound grief and heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family.
They paid tribute to Justice Khalil ur Rehman Khan’s distinguished services to the judiciary and acknowledged his valuable contributions to the administration of justice in the country.
The Chief Justice and fellow judges prayed that Almighty Allah grant eternal peace to the departed soul and bless the family with patience, strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The condolence session concluded with collective prayers for the late judge and for fortitude to his family.
