Coordination Committee meeting held

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 26th Mar, 2026) A meeting of the Regional Coordination Committee was held under the chairmanship of Regional Police Officer Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan, in which DPOs and heads of other police agencies participated.

The meeting reviewed the mutual affairs of the regional police in detail and suggested measures to resolve other police-related issues including maintaining law and order. RPO Muhammad Shahzad Asif Khan directed to keep mutual contacts active and complete security arrangements at all sensitive places.

He issued instructions that security arrangements at sensitive places should be kept complete and active, and heads of all agencies should strictly enforce traffic rules, especially the use of helmets while riding motorcycles, to ensure the safety of the lives of their subordinate police employees.

In case of any fatal traffic accident, the concerned officers should personally visit the scene of the accident, while Punjab Highway Patrol and Traffic Police should jointly take effective steps under a coordinated strategy to reduce traffic accidents.
