ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 29th Apr, 2026) The meeting of the Council of Islamic Ideology held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Council, Allama Dr. Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi in which members of the Council participated online as part of the Federal government's austerity policy.

While paying tribute to the Pakistani armed forces for their great victory in last year’s, the Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology, Allama Dr. Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi, said that just three hours after the false flag operation carried out by the Indian government in the Pahalgam area of Anantnag district in occupied Kashmir on April 22, 2025, Indian media outlets distorted the facts and began blaming Pakistan.

Pakistan rejected these baseless allegations and offered an impartial and transparent investigation, he said.

In response to Indian aggression, he said, Pakistan launched Operation Banyan Marsus, in which Allah Almighty granted a historic victory to the Pakistani armed forces.

On the completion of one year of the “Banyan Marsus” the Council of Islamic Ideology paid tribute to the Pakistani armed forces, especially Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the chairman said.

The meeting highly appreciated the extraordinary efforts of the Government of Pakistan, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, and Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir in achieving the ceasefire and peace agreement in the context of the recent Iran–US–Israel conflict.

The Council, along with Council member Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, expressed deep concern over an incident of mischief by certain elements in London and appealed to the government to immediately bring those responsible to justice.
