ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 27th Jun, 2026) Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Barrister Danyal Chaudhry said on Saturday that Pakistan’s foreign policy is delivering results on the international stage, adding that the country is heading toward a better economic shift as coming months will help achieve national targets and overcome inflationary pressures.

While speaking to a state-run news channel, Danyal Chaudhry said the PML-N-led government inherited an economy on the brink of default risk but has successfully steered the country away from crisis toward stability, recovery, and renewed international confidence.

He said Pakistan is now firmly on the path of economic stabilization and growth, adding that key macroeconomic indicators are improving and investor confidence is gradually returning.

He further stated that the country’s foreign policy under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir represents a major shift in direction and according to him, a historic achievement in restoring Pakistan’s international engagement and diplomatic credibility.

Danyal Chaudhry said Pakistan has been put back on its feet and is now positioned to move toward sustained stability and growth, with inflationary pressures gradually easing and economic conditions showing steady improvement.

He added that expanded trade relations with Iran are expected in the near future, which would create new employment opportunities and strengthen economic activity across multiple sectors of the economy.

He said the current budget has been designed with a long-term and structured vision, focusing on textiles, housing, exports, manufacturing, infrastructure, IT and remittances, with clear targets aimed at ensuring sustainable growth and economic stability in the coming months.

He concluded that better days lie ahead for the country, expressing confidence that ongoing economic reforms, improved stability and strengthened foreign relations will continue to deliver positive results in the coming months.
