Court awarded life jail to accuse in murder case

SARGODHA, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 16th Apr, 2026) Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Shahid Javed on Thursday awarded life imprisonment to an accused in a murder case no. 537/24 registered under Section 302/34, along with a fine of Rs. 500,000.

According to the prosecution, the accused, Nasar Hayat, a resident of Shahpur area under the jurisdiction of Shahpur Sadar Police Station, had murdered Mazhar Hayat over a domestic dispute.

The court, after examining the evidence on record and finding it sufficient, awarded life imprisonment to the accused.
