Court rejects bail of Bin Alam Housing Society owner in multi-billion rupee fraud case

An accountability court on Wednesday rejected the post-arrest bail application of Kashif Alam Khilji, one of the accused in the multi-billion rupee fraud reference against Bin Alam Housing Society

LAHORE, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) An accountability court on Wednesday rejected the post-arrest bail application of Kashif Alam Khilji, one of the accused in the multi-billion rupee fraud reference against Bin Alam Housing Society.

The bail plea was heard by Accountability Court Administrative Judge Rana Muhammad Arif, who announced the verdict and dismissed the application.

National Accountability Bureau Prosecutor Haris Qureshi opposed the request and urged the court to reject it. He told the court that Kashif Alam Khilji had remained a proclaimed offender for seven years before his arrest.

According to the reference, the owners of Bin Alam Housing Society allegedly defrauded citizens of billions of rupees by selling fake plot files and failing to provide plots or legal ownership rights despite receiving payments.

The reference Names Muhammad Alam Khilji, Kashif Alam, Muhammad Azam Alam, and Muhammad Asif Alam among the accused, while other suspects in the case are also currently in jail.
