LAHORE, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 18th Jun, 2026) An anti-corruption court on Thursday dismissed the interim bail applications of three suspects in a case pertaining to alleged corruption and financial irregularities in the Solid Waste Management Company.
Anti-Corruption Court Judge Javed Iqbal Warraich heard the case.
During the proceedings, suspects Qaiser Khan, Muhammad Shafiq and Rauf Ahmad appeared before the court.
However, the court dismissed their bail petitions after hearing arguments.
Meanwhile, the court also took up post-arrest bail petitions filed by other accused nominated in the case, including Muhammad Murtaza, Farooq Khan, Ahsan Nadeem, Hafiz Muhammad Tayyab and Rai Qamar Zaman.
<?php /*?> <?php */?>After hearing arguments from both sides, the court adjourned further proceedings on the post-arrest bail applications until June 23.
The case relates to allegations of corruption and financial mismanagement in the affairs of the Solid Waste Management Company. The court will resume hearing the bail petitions at the next date of hearing.
