Court seeks report regarding Ali Wazir's arrest

An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday sought a report on the current situation of political leader Ali Wazir in the case of his speech against the security institutions

ISLAMABAD, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 1st Apr, 2026) An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Wednesday sought a report on the current situation of political leader Ali Wazir in the case of his speech against the security institutions.

ATC Judge, Tahir Abbas Sapra, heard the case.

No progress could be made in the case during hearing due to Ali Wazir’s unavailability.

The court, while seeking a report from Senior Superintendent of Police Operations, Islamabad regarding Ali Wazir, said that it should be informed regarding whereabout of Ali Wazir, whether he was arrested in any case or on bail.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case until May 25.
