Court sentences accused to life imprisonment in student murder case

PESHAWAR, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 19th Jun, 2026) Additional District and Sessions Judge Imtiaz Ali-II sentenced accused Allah Jan to life imprisonment and imposed a Rs1 million fine after finding him guilty in the murder case of BS final-year student Daniyal Zeb.

The court also awarded him 10 years in prison for injuring Daniyal’s uncle, banker Jahangir Khan.

The incident occurred on August 10, 2023, in Mohmand Abad, Peshawar, where Daniyal Zeb was killed and his uncle injured.

Two absconding suspects, Muhammad islam Khan and Muhammad Jan, have been declared proclaimed offenders.
