ISLAMABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 8th Jun, 2026) The District & Sessions Court of Islamabad on Monday maintained the non-bailable arrest warrants of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi in a case related to alleged misleading allegations against state institutions and attempts to damage their reputation.

The court also directed authorities to arrest the accused and present him before the court.

The case was heard by Senior Civil Judge Abbas Shah at the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad.

During the hearing, the court noted Sohail Afridi’s absence and decided to keep the previously issued non-bailable arrest warrants in force.

The judge ordered law enforcement authorities to ensure the arrest of the accused and produce him before the court at the next hearing.
