MULTAN, (UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 9th Apr, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Ali Dogar invited retired Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs) to his office where he listened to their problems and issued directions to resolve them without delay.
During the meeting, the retired officers briefed the CPO in detail about the issues and difficulties they were facing, particularly regarding welfare matters and challenges encountered during and after their service. They also shared their experiences and highlighted the hardships faced by retired police personnel.
The CPO attentively listened to their problems and assured them to resolve their issues on priority.
Issuing orders to relevant subordinates, CPO warned that no negligence in resolving retired officials' problems would be tolerated.
He further stated that retired officers dedicated a significant part of their lives to public service and maintaining law and order, adding that ensuring their welfare is the responsibility of the department.
The retired DSPs appreciated the initiative taken by the CPO Multan and thanked him for giving them the opportunity to present their concerns. They expressed hope that their issues would be resolved at the earliest.
