CPO orders improved facilities for personnel deputed on Chinese security

FAISALABAD, (APP - UrduPoint / Pakistan Point News - 2nd Jun, 2026) City Police Officer (CPO) Tanveer Hussain has visited the FIEDMC area, reviewed security arrangements and directed police officials to immediately address residential and welfare-related issues of the personnel deployed on Chinese security duties as protection of foreign nationals is top priority of the police.

During visit, he chaired a meeting focused on the residential facilities and welfare arrangements available to employees assigned to the security of Chinese nationals and projects operating in the industrial zone. He reviewed the existing accommodation arrangements, available facilities and operational challenges faced by personnel performing security duties for Chinese nationals and other foreign citizens in the area.

Speaking on the occasion, he directed the concerned authorities to take immediate steps to resolve issues related to residential facilities and improve living conditions for the security personnel. He said that the provision of suitable accommodation and basic amenities is imperative to enable employees to perform their responsibilities efficiently and with greater commitment.

He stressed that all necessary facilities including essential residential requirements should be ensured at the accommodation sites so that personnel could carry out their duties in a professional and effective manner.

He said that there would be zero tolerance for any negligence or carelessness in the security of Chinese and other foreign nationals. He said that protection of foreign citizens particularly those associated with development and investment projects is a matter of utmost importance and required continuous vigilance.

He said that all possible measures are being taken to ensure provision of basic facilities and welfare support to the personnel assigned to Chinese security duties.

He said that improving the working and living conditions of security staff would enhance their performance and strengthen the overall security framework.

CSO FIEDMC Colonel Pervaiz, SP Madina Town Azhar Javed, SPU Battalion Commander SP Naveed, DSP Nishatabad Nadeem Iqbal, FIEDMC Chairman Rana Azhar and other concerned officers were also present in the meeting.
